Tata International’s largest subsidiary, Tata Africa Holdings has served as the flag bearer of the Tata Group in the continent since 1977 and is headquartered in South Africa. It has facilitated several business collaborations and has successfully created a niche for the Tata brand, its values and commitment to the larger community.
Through subsidiaries and joint ventures worldwide, we also have business interests in luxury hotels, bus body building, vehicle assembly and bicycles.
Stryder CyclesStryder Cycle is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata International. Earlier a part of Tata International, the business was set up with a philanthropic mission of providing quality bicycles to the World Bicycle Relief (Africa). In the year 2009, the products started being retailed in the Indian domestic market under the marquee brand Tata Stryder.
Stryder offers a wide range of bicycles under Premium, MTB, SLR, Kids and Roadster categories. Stryder bicycles are available at more than 4,000 retail outlets across India. Apart from being one of the leading bicycle brands in India, Stryder also has export operations in SAARC, Africa and Middle East countries and has more than three million happy riders across geographies. The brand completed 10 years of operations in the year 2020.
Tata International DLTEstablished in 2006, Tata International DLT trailers started their journey with single-point aim of providing the best trailers to Tata Motors. After several successful years, the company expanded into the open market to provide India with trailers of international quality.
With this rich experience in the commercial vehicle industry, Tata International DLT has emerged as the preferred choice for trailer buyers throughout the country.
Tata Precision Industries (India) LimitedSet up in 1995, Tata Precision is a 50:50 joint venture between Tata Precision Industries Pte Ltd, Singapore, and Tata International. The business line includes precision metal and plastic parts for the engineering, wireless control and automobile sectors.
Tata Precision is a world-class manufacturer of precision engineering parts and the company has facilities in India, at Dewas. An ISO 9001:2000 accredited organisation, it endeavours to provide customer delight through world-class quality and services.
The operations consist of 21 CNC vertical machining centres (VMCs), 8 CNC turning centres, 10 special purpose machines (SPMs), a well-equipped quality control department with Mitutoya Micro-Hite, 3-Axis CNC coordinate measuring machine (CMM) Mitutoya Micro-Hite, along with other measuring instruments. The plastic shop consists 500T, 220T and 75T capacity CNC injection moulding machines.
